Place each drop deliberately
Use the drop guide to choose a horizontal position. The character will fall, roll, and react to the pile, so its landing point may differ from its release point.
Combine matching characters
Two characters from the same tier merge into the next tier. The new character is larger and worth more points, while the merge turns two pieces into one.
Read the next preview
The preview shows which character is coming next. Use it to decide whether to complete an immediate pair or prepare space for a later merge.
Create chain reactions
Merges can move nearby characters into new matches. Place pairs close enough that one merge can trigger another and raise the chain count.
Watch the danger line
Newly dropped characters have two seconds to enter the container. After that, any part of a character above the line starts a continuous three-second warning. The warning resets if the pile falls below the line before it completes.
